The eighth edition of Pakistan Design Fashion Council L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week took place from September 4 through 6, 2018 in Lahore. This year, the Pakistan Fashion Design Council opened the platform to a host of fresh, new bridal designers while the French beauty giant was keen to emphasize its Worth It campaign via brand ambassadors Mahira Khan and Mehreen Syed.

“L’Oréal Pakistan is delighted to partner with PFDC to showcase the 8th edition of Bridal Week in Lahore,” saidMusharafHai, Managing Director L’Oréal Pakistan. “Last year we launched Mahira Khan as the Spokesperson for L’Oréal Paris Hair Care from this eponymous platform for beauty and fashion and in 2018 for the first time, Pakistan was represented at the Cannes Film Festival by Mahira sponsored by L’Oréal Paris. The PFDC & L’Oréal Paris partnership has provided the impetus for our designers, fashion industry and make-up artists to shine and reach international audiences. The digitization of PLBW has enabled instant awareness and recognition across the globe. We are committed to building the equity for PLBW as the trendsetting and most inspiring platform for fashion and beauty.”

“I strongly believe that empowering women with better education, being sensitive towards their wellbeing, health, happiness, ensuring equal opportunities and respecting their rights will go a long way to transforming Pakistan,” said Mahira Khan, who took to the stage as one of L’Oréal Pakistan spokespeople at the event.
